Lesson Plan One Reflection

What I learned from designing this first lesson plan for class was...

that is is really important to have a solid idea of what you want students to learn before you begin creating your lesson plan. As has once been said in this class "start with the end in mind." It is also important to try and focus the content, if to much information is hit lightly, but not in depth, student learning is more shallow and surface level, rather than a firm understanding of any one objective.

What I want to know more about is...

Applying a lesson plan, I can plan until I am blue in the face, but if I cannot actually put the plan to use it is not really much good. Plus, putting a lesson plan to practice seems like it would really help me get an in depth understanding of how a lesson plan works and how the planning process compares to the action process.
